WARNING: When “offline mode” is enabled, credit card transactions can be accepted without approval from the acquirer. Once back “online” accepted transactions may be declined which is at the merchant’s risk. Declined transactions are beyond the control of MyVenue and could be a significant proportion off accepted Transactions.

Please be aware that Offline Credit Card Mode is for EMERGENCY and TEMPORARY use ONLY.

This mode permits most card payment transactions to be PERMITTED (accepted) even when the Payment Gateway or Acquirer is unavailable.

After activation of this mode, there is SIGNIFICANT RISK that some transactions PERMITTED while offline may be DECLINED when connection with the Gateway / Acquirer is re-established.

Further, there is a LOW RISK that transactions PERMITTED while offline may permanently be lost (for example, destroyed or stolen POS terminal).

This means that the revenue associated with DECLINED or LOST transactions is unable to be recovered.

You (the merchant) are responsible and liable for all losses while this mode is activated.

You MUST disable this mode if you decide not to use OFFLINE CREDIT CARD MODE or if you do not accept the potential liability.
